PLANT TISSUE ANALYSIS

Cropland Analytics offers two major types of Plant Tissue testing:

DRY TISSUE

Dry tissue testing is a critical method used to analyze dried plant tissues (such as leaves, stems, and fruits) to assess the nutritional health of plants. It provides a more stable and accurate representation of the plant’s nutritional uptake over time. 

At Cropland Analytics, our dry tissue testing service ensures that you receive precise data you can rely on to optimize the use of fertilizer and crop health.

SAP ANALYSIS

SAP Analysis: one sample per field or 2 samples per field. Turnaround time is 24 hours. 

"Sieve and Press" testing. This method involves extracting the nutrient-rich fluid (SAP) from the plant tissue and analyzing the immediate nutrient status of the plant. It helps to monitor the nutrients in the plan at a particular growth stage.

LIME ANALYSIS

LIME BASIC

Lime analysis is used to determine the quality, composition, and effectiveness of lime (calcium carbonate or other lime products) when used to amend soil. 

Lime is primarily applied to neutralize soil acidity, improve nutrient availability, and enhance overall soil health.

GYPSUM BASIC

Gypsum analysis is used to determine the quality, composition, and suitability of gypsum (calcium sulphate dihydrate) for agricultural and industrial applications. Gypsum is used to improve soil structure, provide essential nutrients (such as calcium and sulphur), and enhance water infiltration.
